I was in caps lock and typed the first word on a line, then it auto-fixed the capitalization, and after it did so my caps lock was reversed! So when my caps-lock light is on, I have normal capitalization, and when it's off I have all caps. This it not limited to OpenOffice, it seems to have reversed my whole system's caps-lock.
