does it make a difference if you use bash instead of tcsh?
I switched to --with-use-shell=bash long time ago since I had random build
failures on the Mac with tcsh... (or are you only using tcsh as your personal
shell (why would anybody want to do that ;-)) and use bash for the build
already?)
