The fill character is added as hard character attribute. A change of the style
would mean a change of perhaps other indexes in the document, which may not be
desired.
Can be changed via "Format.Character" for each entry in the index (if not
"protected against manual changes") or in the "Edit index / table" dialog on the
"Entries" tabpage when clicking the "T" character in the "Structure" section.
