------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Mar 18 12:42:56 +0000 2009 ------- OOo 3.0.1 (apparently also 3.0, but not 2.x) crashed on opening a writer document on a specific WinXP Sp2 machine. Maybe due to a low memory situation. Windows' virtual memory was configured to a fixed size. After reconfiguring this back to default values, OOo seemed to open the documents without problems.
