------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Mar 19 06:39:29 +0000 2009 ------- Hello. After having reviewed the discussion thread for Issue # 59364 and this issue, I have to say that the solution that was given for issue 59364 was not an actual fix to the problem. If I understand it correctly, the only way to utilize the iconsets other than High-Contrast on a Unix system is to not use a dark theme. I understand that it represents more work, but why is the optimal solution //not// the restoration of the check-box's functionality so as to allow those users who chose to do so to use something other than the HC iconset while also using a dark theme? May I also state that as of April, you will very likely be seeing more objections to exactly this problem once Ubuntu 9.04 goes live, and a number of users discover that their OOo suite has broken as a result of the system's default theme being a dark one? I know that we're the folks running with training wheels over here, but a little love would be appreciated. :) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
