Hmm, that would be a bug. Looking into the msi database of an OOo dev en-US I
can see that 16 from 1157 registry keys are written. And this 16 keys are all
located below the dev specific keys
Software/OpenOffice.org/OOo-dev
or
Software/OpenOffice.rog/LayerDev
and therefore do not conflict with the registry keys from a non-dev
installation. On the other hand the key
HKLM\Software\OpenOffice.org\UNO\InstallPath
is used by all our released products and should therefore not be written by
development builds (only with explicit WRITE_REGISTRY=1).
