I say the announce, but as too lazy to see if it made a difference. For IA64 ARM
we want to enforce the alignment as many IA64/ARMS allow it to happen, but
really don't want it to happen if it can be avoided.
So change abort to raise SIGBUS is the quickest quick-fix.
I can stick this in my next 3.2 workspace
