Hello.

I am trying to convice an organization to use OOo as they need to submit
documents in pdf format. While importing some MS office docs that were created
on a Mac, we came across a problem with embedded charts. (Another bug) To try
to get around this, the charts were exported as individual documents. OOo,
1.1.4 and 2.0 beta both open the chart documents with no problem. :)

The problem is we need to copy and past the charts (images) from the one page to
the full report. I tried for an hour to select, copy and past the chart.

I could select individual components of the chart but not the whole chart.
Using ctrl+shift+click, I could create groups and then copy parts at a time.
The problem was getting things aligned.

As there are confidentially issues, I will see if I can get an editted sample.

The chart was a 6 position bar chart with overlapping error bars on the tops. I
could select the top, bottom, and middle of the error bar as individual items,
not as a whole.

If I tried to select all, it was greyed out in the menu if I had selected the
graphic. If I did a highlite page and try to copy, it didn't work either. The
only object on the page was the chart. I could not find a way to select the
whole chart for copying.

This isn't looking good for OOo in this case.
