------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sat Mar 28 19:39:17 +0000 2009 ------- That's not about functionality, but about usability - which should be an important item, given the topic :) If you let OOo show the data collected for the Improvement Program (via Tools/Options/OpenOffice.org/Improvement Program/Show Data), then a dialog with the title "Text Import - [Current.csv]" opens. This dialog has a lot of problems in this context, which are all caused by the fact that we obviously re-used an existing dialog for a completely inappropriate purpose: - the title of the dialog is wrong and misleading (we're not doing a text import here) - all the options presented in the are absolutely useless in this context It does not make sense at all to specify a field or text delimiter, a start row, a column type, or a character set. Really *nothing* of the ~10 options a user can modify is really ought to be modified. - When you press "OK" or "Cancel", you get the usual "Document in use" message box, saying that you cannot open "Current.csv". What the heck, I did not intend to open it ...!? - Pressing the help button in the dialog directs you to, guess, the help page which explains Text/CSV import functionality.
