Nowadays I use NeoOffice on my PPC iMac, OpenOffice 3.01 on my Intel Linux box (Ubuntu 8.04) and NeoOffice on another Intel iMac. The problem has always been intermittent but I have not seen this particular crash again on any of these machines.
