When the program launches, a pop-up balloon will appear at the top of the Mac screen adjacent to a downward pointing arrow announcing that updates are available and to click on it if you want to download. If you do, a big box appears on the screen announcing what the update is and gives the option to select or cancel. If selected, the download will begin and a progress bar appears. However, progress is so slow that I abort and go to the website and download from there.

------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Apr 9 15:09:33 +0000 2009 ------- Sorry, but there is no such thing as a download inside the program, OOo only gives update notifications and everything else happens inside the browser.

Can you explain where you think that a download starts from inside OOo?
