The difference in size is related to the changes that was done between last save operation ( that you have done ) and last autosave openeraion ( that is done by office ), I assume. Please do not be confused by the smaller size, the difference is indeed quite small. The file is compressed, so adding some additional data in a document might let it be compressed better. Anyway, I would recommend to review the contents of the stored copy. As for the locked file, can it be that you have a notebook that is used in different networks?
