In "Date & time" section check "Fixed" and enter value. Do NOT enter value in Footer section although section can be checked or not. Apply to all. Save document. Close document Re-open document - date & time is missing. Notes: If text is also added to Footer section of "Header and Footer" dialog then "Date & time" value is saved.
