------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon May 4 18:14:50 +0000 2009 ------- As far as I can determine from my locale files, only Canada, USA, and Puerto Rico use letter-sized paper. Of these, only Canada uses metric measurement. However, Canada uses inches for margins, etc. If we set LC_MEASUREMENT to Imperial, this solves our problem with our office suite, but it messes up all our other applications. For example, weather is now in degrees Fahrenheit. Setting the page units based upon LC_PAPER instead of LC_MEASUREMENT would solve this problem which all Canadians share. It is also more logical and consistent to measure A4 paper in metric and 8-1/2" x 11" US-letter paper in Imperial. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
