Hi mru,
thanks for clarification! But other than closing this issue, i rather change it
into a feature request. Besides the technical background, from the users point
of view, having transparent pictures while dragging them in Writer is very
desirable. This is especially true, since this performance is already there in
Calc, Impress and Draw.
