------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri May 15 12:24:29 +0000 2009 ------- not exactly the same I observe here: After switching back to Sheet1, I need the press the "Show all" button for the grid/navbar to appear, all others are still hidden until a repaint. Assuming your description simply missed that step ... Interestingly, when you force the repaint by minimizing and restoring the doc window (*not* by switching to Sheet2 and back), then all other controls re-appear, too - with the difference that they're not really alive, but instead look like painted in design mode. Try clicking into an input field, or selecting all cells covered by controls, and you'll see what I mean. I think there's some design mode confusion here. One main difference between the grid/navbar and all other controls is that the former are always really-visible VCL windows, even in design mode (other controls are invisible in design mode, and just painted where necessary). Also, the effect described above also seems to suggest that all those other controls did not really become visible, but instead think they're in design mode, so the respective VCL window is not shown. Need to investigate, but I suppose the relationship between the two visibility flags in the VCLXWindow is key here. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
