The colors of the mimetype icons have been (slightly, but noticeable) modified
between OOo2 and OOo3. If you have a look at the Base color, you will see, that
it is more darker and reddish than before. 

Stella provided a comparison at the wiki:

The artist who created the winning splash screen didn't know that and used the
OOo2 colors for the dots at the right part of the splash screen. As they are
meant as reference for the OOo applications, they should use the OOo3 color 
scheme.
