Example To duplicate issue:
Create a new document.
Format / Paragraph / Indents & Spacing / Set "Before Text" to .5"
Set left tab stops at 2" and 3"
Type in document: X <tab> X <tab> X <enter>
(First X will be at .5", 2nd X at 2" and 3rd X at 3")
Now save the document in Word 97/2000/XP .doc format.
Close the document and then reopen it.
Notice that the tab stops have each moved by the amount of the indent to 2.5"
and 3.5".
Making further changes to the text and re-saving/re-opening causes the tabs to
move an addition .5" at a time.
