Hi,

this is not a bug from OOo.

The file provided isn't an Excel file but an tab separated text file. Therefore
the file open dialog of an integrated product like OOo checks the content of the
file and tries to open the file with the Excel import filter but as the file
isn't an Excel file it opens it with the application used for files of the given
type. In your case Writer.

You can choose from the following solutions :

- Rename the file to csv -> opens every time in Calc
- Let SAP save the file with csv extension -> opens every time in Calc
- Choose the Text - CSV Filter in the file open dialog to let OOo know that you
want this file opened in Calc.

Frank
