------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed May 27 10:20:16 +0000 2009 ------- As the attached test document and screenshots demonstrate, line breaks within cells differ between Windows (2000 in this case) and Linux, even when "Use printer metrics for text formatting" is NOT ACTIVE. The whole point of printer independent text formatting IMHO is to achieve a look that is consistent among different workstations. If this does not work among different OSes, then the feature is pointless in heterogeneous environments. Furthermore it's confusing in this case because admins will think that unchecking "Use printer metrics for text formatting" is a good thing even though the results would be more consistent with the checkbox set (assuming that the environment is homogeneous with respect to the printers deployed, which is often the case). When "Use printer metrics for text formatting" is DISABLED, then the formatting should be printer AND operating system independent. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
