------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed May 27 13:21:57 +0000 2009 ------- I am running Windows 7 RC, I have israeli locale set, with ooo3.1.0 m11 On linux I am generating 2 odt files, both in english. 1. simple document with "Hello World!" in it, let it be 1.odt 2. complex document with tables of images, paragraphs, etc. I'm generating it with odfpy v. 0.7.0 package from wikipedia's NASA article, let it be 2.odt ooo was installed on the system and I didn't touch the locale settings. * I tried to load document 2.odt, it crashed. * tried to load document 1.odt, it loaded, but it looked a bit reversed: the sentence was aligned to the right, and the exclamation mark was on the left hand. Then, I played with the language settings, and have set English USA as the main locale, and this has solved the problem. I think the fact ooo is set to be in RTL/hebrew/arabic mode should not stop from loading english documents. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
