------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri May 29 20:28:26 +0000 2009 ------- I've installed python 2.6.2 and openoffice 3.1. I want to write some macros in python. I thought I would test the included ones first. I ran the helloworld.py macro using the python section off of the macro organization. At first I got: com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeExceptionError during invoking function HelloWorldPython in module file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/OpenOffice.org%203/Basis/share/Scripts/python/HelloWorld.py (<type 'exceptions.AttributeError'>: Text C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenOffice.org 3\Basis\share\Scripts\python\HelloWorld.py:8 in function HelloWorldPython() [text = model.Text] C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenOffice.org 3\Basis\program\pythonscript.py:773 in function invoke() [ret = self.func(*args)] ) I tried setting URE_BOOTSTRAP as suggested by different places that I googled. After that I got a message when I started Calc that scalc failed to load because the language could not be determined. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
