This is an important privacy support feature. Using it in the way as you suggested will make the code more complicated and - in the long run - error prone. As a bug in this function can have very unfortunate consequences for the users I really don't want to change it. But we can add a listbox to the dialog allowing to select between several profiles (identified by the "author" property).
