------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Jun 2 08:47:38 +0000 2009 ------- eg: copy 4 rows from a 5 cols table in a page opened in Firefox pasting into Calc took ca. 12s to see the same data in Calc's cells, on a Centrino 1.6GHz pc doing just this task. eg: copy 57 rows x 16 cols table from html page opened in FF pasting it into Calc took ... forever - went out for a coffee, then back to the screen, in time to see last miniute or so of blank Calc page, eventually showing the final table. Phew, that was a >5mins job, on same platf as above, I was going to shut it down, thinking it's hanging.
