------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Jun 2 12:09:57 +0000 2009 ------- Minor correction to myself - it's not that it's a direct reference, since =SUM(A1,A2) is direct references as against =SUM(A1:A2) being a range reference, yet it still does not do automatic number conversion.
