It is a test with images and radio buttons and checkboxes and text. When I paste it into OO and start working on formatting it, OO will eventually crash. I get a notification from KDE Window Manager telling me that "compositing is too slow and has been suspended..." and the screen turns into a jigsaw puzzle. Sometimes, after some time, I get control back but the task bar and window title bar are all messed up, but can continue working. Sometimes the computer freezes and I must force a restart, sometimes I have to restart x and log back in. While editing the file, I have lots of tables (created when I paste the contents of the web page into OO) and am changing the table widths by dragging the right table margin into the page margin area. I also resize a column in each table where the answers (checkbox and radio button) are to 1/2 inch. I also double click the images to re-insert the ones I have downloaded rather than linking to them via http (preserve bandwidth). Those are the tasks I am performing on a 34 page file with 57 questions etc... when the problem appears. I never seem to get a crash notification. After researching this, I installed gdb and am prepared to use it to capture useful information. In the mean time, OO finally crashed and told me so. So, I captured the debug info using gdb and here it is...
