------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Jun 4 21:23:03 +0000 2009 ------- I confirm this (frequent!) behavior with OpenOffice 3.1 under Vista SP1 and SP2 and writer, calc, and impress. It is a major issue that causes loss of all data if it wasn't saved automatically. The paradox is, you want to secure the file you are working at and while browsing for the folder or writing a new name for the file, it crashes and you have to be lucky with recovery! I have submitted several reports from inside OpenOffice. Other programs have no problem with the file picker.
