Can reproduce it in OOo300m9 on WinXP and Fedora9

How to reproduce it
1 Create a new Drawing or Impress doc
2 Insert - Table, insert a table with rows more than four like 8*8
3 Set cursor in any cell, i.e. C2, split C2 into 4 (>= 3),
  Direction:Vertically, OK.
4 Select 2 or more continual cells (except the cells next to C2)
  in the same column, like C4:C6, then merge cells
5 Save the document, Reload or reopen it.

Result
OOo crashes.
Can't recover the file and send a error report. So no error ID

Expectation
Open the file works well

Regards
Li Meiying
