------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sun Jun 7 00:37:06 +0000 2009 ------- When I attempt to access "Check for Updates" in either Writer or Calc, I get the following text in the Status box in the Check For Updates window: - Downloading OpenOffice.org staleld at %PERCENT% The Description box reads: - URL using bad/illegal format or missing URL. If I click the [Cancel] button, OpenOffice prompts me with a confirmation window reading, "Do you really want to cancel the download?" If I click [Yes], I get the following error: - Runtime Error! - Program C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenOffice.org 3\program\soffice.bin - This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. OpenOffice then closes all of its open applications. I attempted to uninstall, restart the computer and reinstall, but this did not resolve the issue. I was unable to find a similar issue in the database. There is a workaround; I can manually download updates on using a web browser. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
