------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Jun 9 05:46:53 +0000 2009 ------- There's a major bug with the saving mechanism of OOo as stated in issue 102081 This can be fixed by checking the "Always create backup copy" in the load save section of OOo options...to avoid permanent data loss, this button should be checked, so its recommend that the default value is checked and the user is made to notify about this the first time he/she/both opens openoffice.
