I tried to use conditional format to give a hint for wrong input.
it looks, as this impossible with OO.o

supposed you have 
- a cell formatted as number and entered a letter
- the other way round
- a cell formated for logic values and enter a number or letter

this "wrong condition" can neither be detected nor used within a conditional
formatting

of course, this is a two-step missing feature, as a function returning the
properties of a cell is missing too (like text/date/currency/logic - or
unformated/standard)
