------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Jun 16 00:53:33 +0000 2009 ------- In many scientific applications, it is useful to have axis that have fancier stuff that straightforward characters. For example, you might want (and sometimes do want) to have an axis such as I_z (italics I, subscript z) or B (bold B). Other times you would like to have an axis labeled Mass (MeV/c^2), Speed (m/s^2), or Force (kg·m/s^2) (^2 denotes a superscript 2). Yet other times you would like to have a Chart titled something like A_0 sin(x)/x. This doesn't seem all that hard to implement and users would greatly benefit from it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
