------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Jun 17 10:13:51 +0000 2009 ------- When you save a sheet with more columns than the supported excel limit Openoffice.org saves the file nicely giving you the impression that everything is fine. Unfortunately when you reopen the file and find that some data got lost it's a bit difficult to understand _why_ you lost it. I think that in this case when saving Openoffice.org should warn about that and ask confirmation. Both oo.org 3.1.0 on mac and and older 3.0.1 on linux behave this way. If you save the xls to ods then you add a column then convert it again to xls a warning is correctly showed. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
