To be sure to surround the problem: - you *don't achieve getting rid* of the lines (whatever they are) in the document, yes they still appear in the document and then are consequently printed/exported as PDF (so no print problem)? OR - Your document appears without lines in it but the lines reappear on the print output (so no WYSIYG)?
