Ok. Let me try to explain a little bit from the general object positioning
algorithm. Regarding this positioning algorithm everything is fine.
The objects property "Flow with text" influences the object positioning.
When it is not set - as in the given documents - the object stays on the page on
which its anchor is on. If it does not fit together with its anchor on the page,
it forces the anchor to move to the next page. Such an object can also leave the
area, in which its anchor can be placed. It can be somewhere on the page, even
in the area of the page footer.
Thus, in given case "alignment TOP2BOTTOM.odt" the object moves as far to the
bottom of its anchor paragraph as it is possible. The rest of the paragraph is
wrapped to the next page and the object overlap with the bottom page margin.
In case "alignment FIRSTpage2SECONDpage.odt" only one line of text and the
object can be on the first page. But, the paragraphs attributes regarding widows
and orphans forbids only one line of text on a page. Thus, the paragraph
together with its object moves forward to the next page.
Resolving this issue as INVALID - the current positioning is correct regarding
the implemented positioning algorithm.
OD->uwegalle:
Where do you want the object to be? Probably I can give you a proper resolution,
which values the positioning attributes should have.
