Thanks for pointing me to the "Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org Writer -
General -
Measurement unit" but this still leaves a problem with "/ Options /
OpenOffice.org Writer / Grid" in this panel the resolution is set in millimeters
but the horizontal and vertical subdivisions are presented in points ( 1/72 of
an inch) which is incoherent.
