Hi drichard,

I did the following:
1.)
- Open OOo
- create new Writer document
- saved document as dummy.sxw with automatic file extension ==> this results in
a file called "dummy.sxw.odt"
- exported file: file picker display "dummy.sxw" ==> this is ok since the
extension ".odt" is removed
- exported file results in "dummy.sxw.pdf" which seems to be ok for me...

tested on Fedora Core 3, Gnome2.8.0, OOo 680m91
