I have OpenOffice.org 3.1 installed via SysV packages - standard method for
Solaris Express. (I'm running build snv_117).

PROBLEM: When I try to open an Excel spreadsheet file, calc crashes with these
messages:

ld.so.1: soffice.bin: fatal: libuno_sal.so.3: version `UDK_3.9' not found
(required by file /opt/openoffice.org3/program/../basis-link/program/libscsi.so)
ld.so.1: soffice.bin: fatal: libuno_sal.so.3: open failed: No such file or
directory
ld.so.1: soffice.bin: fatal: relocation error: file
/opt/openoffice.org3/program/../basis-link/program/libscsi.so: symbol
rtl_uString_new_WithLength: referenced symbol not found

I am unable to figure out why a spreadsheet requires a scsi library.
