------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Jul 9 01:26:12 +0000 2009 ------- I have OpenOffice.org 3.1 installed via SysV packages - standard method for Solaris Express. (I'm running build snv_117). PROBLEM: When I try to open an Excel spreadsheet file, calc crashes with these messages: ld.so.1: soffice.bin: fatal: libuno_sal.so.3: version `UDK_3.9' not found (required by file /opt/openoffice.org3/program/../basis-link/program/libscsi.so) ld.so.1: soffice.bin: fatal: libuno_sal.so.3: open failed: No such file or directory ld.so.1: soffice.bin: fatal: relocation error: file /opt/openoffice.org3/program/../basis-link/program/libscsi.so: symbol rtl_uString_new_WithLength: referenced symbol not found I am unable to figure out why a spreadsheet requires a scsi library. $ pkginfo -l ooobasis31-calc PKGINST: ooobasis31-calc NAME: Calc module for OpenOffice.org 3.1 CATEGORY: application ARCH: i386 VERSION: 3.1.0,REV=11.2009.04.27 BASEDIR: / VENDOR: OpenOffice.org DESC: Calc module for OpenOffice.org 3.1 PSTAMP: epm20090427042620 INSTDATE: May 11 2009 08:16 HOTLINE: Please contact your local service provider STATUS: completely installed FILES: 43 installed pathnames 25 shared pathnames 25 directories 34073 blocks used (approx) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
