Writer (3.1) files saved as .doc (97/2000/xp) and sent as email attachments are no longer viewed as word files on a blackberry with BES support. They are reported as unrecognized formats. Doc files created by OOo 2.0, 2.3, 2.4, 2.4.1, 3.0 and 3.0.1 all view properly on the blackberry.
