------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Jul 16 15:33:08 +0000 2009 ------- Hello Devs, OOo is great and getting better, thank for this piece of software. My issue: When using autotext that includes string-type user-variables, these variables are displayed as "0" after inserting the autotext. Howto reproduce the bug: 1. Open a new letter, type some text with a user-variable in it. The variable must be a string-variable. 2. Copy this text incl. the user-variable in a new autotext. 3. Open a new letter, paste the created autotext in this letter. 4. Now the user-variable is typ "float" and is displayed as "0". Checking the variable manually (Insert -> Fieldcommand -> Others -> Display variable...) is ok, it displays the right typ and the right value. The Bug(?) only appears with OOo 2.3 and newer, tested with 2.3, 2.4, 3.0, 3.1. If something is missing or incomprehensible, please inform me soon. The menu names aren't exact, we're using the german OOo here. This is my first issue, so please be gently with me :) With kindly regards, Markus Hellfeuer --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
