2005 -------
Create a new document in the word processor and write some text. It is in the
"standard" style. Now select it and change the combobox from standard to
something else, say "heading 1". The style is not applied to the selection. The
only way I can achieve the change is opening the style manager and double click
on the style name (still with the text selected, of course).
