I am not sure, if we can use your proposed parameter "/trusted" for the setup.exe, because this is only a loader, that starts the Windows Installer service. You can also double-click the msi file. We do not use any of this problematic functions directly, but only write the certificate into the msi database. The complete evaluation of the certificate is done by the Windows Installer service.
