I opened the configuration settings Tools > Options > Load/Save > VBA Properties In the paragraph "Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP" there is a checkbox "Executable Code" that was unchecked. I checked it and now it works like in OOo 2.4. In OOo2.4 there was no such checkox, just "Load Basic code" and "Save Basic code".
