------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sat Jul 25 18:38:13 +0000 2009 ------- To reproduce: 1) File > New > Spreadsheet 2) Enter three text values: A1: a,b B1: c,d C1: e,f 3) Select A1:C1; Edit > Copy 4) Click in a new cell, e.g. A4 5) Edit > Paste Special > All, Options: Transpose; OK The data are pasted into A4:A6, and Calc shows them highlighted & selected. 6) Data > Text to Columns, Separated by: comma Note that only one row appears in the preview. 7) Click OK: Only the first row of the selection is processed.
