If you enter a date in OpenOffice.org then this date is always represented by a
number (07/01/09 eq. 39995). Just play around with number formats like
MMMM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS AM/PM
/Table/Number format.../
If you leave out eg. one detail (like the day) then the application (esp the
number formater) cannot know it's value.
Maybe you want to use the number format MM/YY
