I checked afterinstallation of "Ooo 3.1.0 WIN XP multilingual version German UI
activated [OOO310m11 (Build 9399)]" and can confirm the reported effect.
"In C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Startmenü\Programme" empty folder
"OpenOffice.org 3.0" has been left after installation of 3.1
This issue might be related to Issue 15006, Issue 38433?
