If this means there is actually work going on toward producing something along the lines of a FAM, then: 1. thanks! and 2. is it possible that, since I opened the request and this functionality is a huge personal concern, that I could participate? Oh - one other comment - most Windows machines already have .doc files associated with wordpad or notepad... so instead of OOo taking over this association, it leaves them associated with wordpad... brilliant...
