At least with issue 7316, once you know what's happening, you have the option of getting in the habit of doing things in the "right order;" frankly this is the pattern dealing with MS products that originally drove my toward open source. Be that as it may, with "paste special with shift," you can't prize the operation apart to reorder the steps.
