Rene, the source tree contains its own xpdf sub-directory with xpdf-3.02 in it.
This is 3RD PARTY software and is likely to be already present on the system,
where OOo is being installed. There ought to be a way to use that installed
version instead of compiling, what's bundled with OOo.
I don't understand, what poppler has to do with it...
