This issue is invalid.
Vanilla OOo doesn't have built-in svg import. The go-oo folks do not want to
contribute it under the terms required for inclusion into vanilla OOo.
So any problems with the built-in import must be directed to your
distribution/to the go-oo project (go-oo main bugzilla is bugzilla.novell.com)
That said, for vanilla OOo you can use the svg-import extension
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/svgimport (drawback: you can
only open in draw, so you have to copy from draw to your document, you cannot
insert it directly) and with that extension, there's no corruption of the lines
(see screenshot)
invalid since code causing the problems is not part of OOo.
